Owner/Educator/Chief Style Expert
His philosophy: Hair is like art in motion. It’s like a raw material having its own textures, patterns and lengths. Everyone is a different canvas and the challenge is to create something that helps them feel beautiful and fresh. Chris envisions style through the eyes of a tailor rather than a hair stylist. The "trend" doesn’t always translate into what’s right for each person but "suitability" never fails. The style must be a great fit for each person, equally unique and accentuated with just the right touch of color. He believes firmly in working with your texture instead of against it which allows the person to more easily replicate the look at home.
Since 1995, Chris has devoted a mountain of time to training with industry legends like Jacques Dessange, Frederic Fekkai, Bumble and bumble, Whittemore House Salon, Pierre Michel, Peter Coppola, L’Oreal and Oribe. The list of top notch education goes on and on. He thoroughly enjoys the challenge of learning anything new but also just plain has fun being a student of his craft. Besides being the student, he has also traveled from coast to coast teaching the amazing techniques he’s learned. Teaching is another outlet that has helped him develop as a mentor and keep the staff motivated and current. It’s a wonderful feeling to help the people that you work with grow and succeed. You can feel his enthusiasm by being a client or just watching from across the room. You feel the confidence and enthusiasm soon after sitting in his chair and know that your best interest is at heart. Chris wants the client to feel like the star not the stylist. Outside of work, Chris cherishes spending time with his two charming little girls and beautiful wife Ashley.
